Have you heard of Entrecard? It’s from the same creator as the Million Dollar Wiki project. Its more interactive than Blogrush and you control exactly who can advertise on your blog and who cannot. It’s a simple system but it gives the little guy a better chance at advertising on the bigger, more popular blogs.

From what I’ve heard, sydication, even via RSS can get you dinged for dupe content by the search engines. I may be wrong — but it makes sense.

@job in my area – Google is not that bad about duplicate content. If the RSS (or article) has a link back to the original post then Google understands the content has been syndicated. Of course they may not rank your RSS post for that item but that’s OK.

Thanks for this great plugin! Works fine – only my old PDA doesn’t understand UTF-8 – most blogs are coded like this – so special characters aren’t displayed correctly.

I’ve used the adwords tool to estimate demand and supply, looked for forums to see what my target market is talking about… I see google analytics is free and looks pretty good once I’m up and running. I’m still working on my content right now on word and trying to decide if I should go with SBI or not I definitely want the Thesis template. I’m not looking for a really fancy site, just one with really rich content that I hope to provide.

Does SBI really have a lot better brainstorming and trafficbuilding tools that cannot be pulled together for free if I look hard enough? I have more time than money. I’m planning to put together an affiliate blog on webpalace which has free wordpress with a 1 button install. I’m trying to justify the $300 annual fee for using SBI… are the tools for brainstorming and traffic building really that good?

Anybody have an opinion they want to share? Maybe you have a website that provides such a service?
