Website Value Calculator is Fixed

Posted in General at 4:29 pm by admin

Hi all,

Sorry for the inconvenience of not having the website value calculator operational over the past few days. I was Dugg on September 20, and the calculator tool received over 46,000 valuation requests in a number of hours. This caused a number of timeout issues on that day, which I tried to fix on the spot in the code. Unfortunately I have been quite busy with my work for the past two days, and did not notice that I had made a few spelling mistakes in my PHP — as reporting errors was disabled to avoid users seeing nasty PHP timeout errors, I didn’t spot the issue until now.

Have a great weekend,
Matt

I have just tested your website calculator…

I have some suggestions to make - this particular has around 50 pages with many of them ranked three.

The adsense income is way much above what u have mentioned.

The text link ads site, calculates sitewide link earning potential at much higher rate…

Further, this is an ecommerce site..selling books. You should somewhere estimate the earning per year into ur total calculation.

I like the calculator as I have used it to access some info that would other wise take more time, it has its limits but it can offer some feedback to people who are just starting out in the journey of change.

I tried again today, and it is not working.

You may want to take another look.

Your value calculator is great, but also I think it should allow some more information to be entered to get more accurate results. For example, users? Is there a calculator which can determine the value using information like users, average online time etc?

But, its great otherwise…
Thanks alot!

Hi Matt -

It appears that the calculator is nolonger operational. I’ve tested blockbuster and little-known websites. All are coming up with a valuation of $58. Please advise as to when this will be fixed. I have some hot commodities that I am anxious to run through your calculator!!!

Nice, nifty, quick calculator. My site is worth $3000 according to your calculator. I take that with a grain of salt of course, as I primarily sell ads to my clients, which is 95% of my income, which of course your calculator doesn’t take into effect.

Thanks!
