Happy Long Weekend!

Posted in General at 10:56 am by admin

I’ve been holding off on updating CyberWyre until after the long weekend. With Canada Day, and Independence Day, I’m sure my traffic will fall to next to nothing. Take it easy, and I’ll be back to regular posting after Monday.

I’m off to Kingston for the weekend now!  Gonna try to beat the long weekend traffic…

I think you would be surprised at how many people stick around and don’t travel during this holiday. It’s also a good time to get a jump on the other people who are taking a break, so a site like this might get more traffic than you think. I agree it will still dip, but keep it fresh in their minds, maybe even with a article that will auto-post while you’re gone.

In any event, have fun on your trip!!

By the time you read this you most likely have returned from Kingston; which in my honest opinion has one of - correct that - the very best Hotel I have ever stayed at.

My wife and I were there on business, we inquired about a place to stay and the gentleman gave several places. When asked the question “Were would you stay?” the answer was the Fireside - not mentioned in the first set of responses - with the statement it was an experience unlike any other.

The people, service, food, amenities, and anything else you could think of was way above average; I think I ate everything on the menu over the course of 3 days.

If this is an inappropriate comment I apologize; but hey someone in the heart of California wine country recommending Kingston; must say something.

Haha! Yeah, Kingston is a pretty amazing town. Tons of great restaurants, hotels, bed & breakfasts, great patios by the water.. it’s a perfect weekend getaway.

My traffic always dips around this time of year, holiday season, 4th of July in the US, 5th is Tynwald Day back home which affects my local websites. I also find the summer a big hit on earnings, are there any figures that show companies spending less on PPC during the summer?
