Another one I'd add to your list is headlines that have a number in it - 
i.e. &quot;5 easy steps to rank #1 in Google&quot;. 
People like to see numbers in headlines, and if the number is low-ish (i.e. 1-10) it also conveys that the article is likely to be succinct and a fast &amp;#38; easy read.
