7000 visitors in 90 minutes

This is the Digg effect to the extreme. My server is having trouble handling all of the incoming traffic and am considering switching to a new host.

This site has been up for about two weeks and has already received 38,000 unique visitors.

… That is the power of quality content.
You are bookmarked.

Btw.: To improve your site you should set your date style to generally recommended yyyy-mm-dd. So it is easier to get it for non-English people. E.g. in Germany we have dd.mm.yy what is almost similar to your used style mm.dd.yy. In some cases it leads to confusion.

it seems like on diggit that people dont like your adsense advertising (Spamming). i guess anyone can find out about the keywords on thier Own. not sure why they are soo up in arms about it All.

surely why would people waste thier time clicking on ads that arent related to what they want to See.

any ways your advice has helped me, Cheers

Thanks for this great plugin! Works fine – only my old PDA doesn’t understand UTF-8 – most blogs are coded like this – so special characters aren’t displayed correctly.

Wow thats pretty awesome that you received that many hits though! I bet my server would not be able to handle it either.
